Couillard Joins Jewett City Savings Bank as Business Loan Officer
JEWETT CITY, CONNECTICUT, February 25, 2020… Kevin Merchant, President and CEO of Jewett City Savings Bank, has announced the hiring of John W. Couillard as Assistant Vice President, Business Loan Officer. Couillard will be responsible for business development in the southeastern Connecticut region, as well as Rhode Island, and will have a permanent office in the Bank’s Pawcatuck office.
Couillard brings more than two decades of experience in business banking to his new role. Prior to joining Jewett City Savings Bank, he served as a Business Development Associate for PNC Business Credit in Glastonbury and as a Commercial Loan Officer for Eastern Connecticut Savings Bank. Couillard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Bryant University and an Associate’s degree from Mitchell College.
In addition to his dedication to local businesses, Couillard is an active member of the Ocean Community Chamber of Commerce and the Eastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce.
