Weiss, Hale & Zahansky Strategic Wealth Advisors Welcomes Daria Zalewska as Senior Associate, Paraplanner
POMFRET CENTER, CT (April 12, 2023) — Weiss, Hale & Zahansky Strategic Wealth Advisors (WHZ) has welcomed Daria Zalewska to the firm as a senior associate, paraplanner. In that role, she assists the firm’s financial advisors in the development, oversight, and management of strategic financial planning for the firm’s high-net-worth clients.
“Daria collaborates with our advisory team by doing deep-dive examinations of client needs and any changes to those needs or their circumstances that might require changes to their strategic financial plan or that might bring about new opportunities to better help them achieve their goals,” said WHZ Principal, Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer Laurence Hale, AAMS, CRPS®.

Prior to joining WHZ, Zalewska was an investment analyst and paraplanner at a Maryland boutique financial planning firm. She transitioned to the financial services industry in 2020 after serving in the United States Air Force for twenty years, during which time she was deployed all over the world in support of Operations Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, and Inherent Resolve. She retired at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel and has been awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, and Air Force Achievement Medal.
Daria holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Tennessee and a certificate in Financial Planning from Saint Joseph’s University. She passed the rigorous CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP®) exam in 2020 and is currently fulfilling the experience requirement for CFP® certification.
Originally from Poland, Daria grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee, and currently resides in central Florida with her husband, their two sons, and their cat. When she’s not at work, she enjoys all things outdoors – walking, jogging, swimming, and going to the beach. She is also a board member of her homeowner’s association and enjoys spending time with her family and friends trying out new restaurants and frequenting festivals and escape rooms.
