Quack Quack! The 2025 PBA Pluck-A-Duck Raffle Event will be an unforgettable day on Sunday, August 10 in collaboration with the Town of Putnam’s Classic Car Show in Rotary Park, Kennedy Drive in Putnam CT from 10:00am-3:00pm. The event features over 2000 classic cars, live music, and a Kids Corner with FREE FAMILY FUN! Kids of all ages will enjoy face painting, bounce houses, celebrity dunk tank, Xen’s Critters petting zoo, photo booth, arts & crafts tent, Wall of Wishes for Make-A-Wish Connecticut and so much more.
In spectacular fashion, thousands of rubber ducks will be released at our “secret duck pond” in Putnam CT and broadcast live on WINY Radio on Monday August 11 at NOON with over 100 fantastic prizes awarded to the lucky “plucked” ducks! This event is a major fundraiser for the Putnam Business Association and its 200+ local members and supports the many free community events that draw thousands of visitors to northeast Connecticut. Over 30 non-profit organizations will also make a splash from selling duck raffle tickets to raise funds for their worthy causes. Organizations like Bags of Hope CT, Hale YMCA Youth & Family Center, United Services, Nutmeg Acres Wildlife Rehabilitation, PAWS Cat Rescue, Danielson Veterans Coffee House, Quinebaug Valley Senior Center, VFW Auxiliary Post 1523, TVCCA Meals-On-Wheels Program, The Arc Eastern Connecticut and many more.
