Access Community Action Agency Receives Gift Cards from Price Chopper to Support Danielson Food Pantry

Danielson, CT – Access Community Action Agency is thrilled to announce the receipt of Price Chopper gift cards generously provided by The Golub Corporation, which will directly support individuals and families served through the Danielson Food Pantry. This contribution will enable Access to offer enhanced support to those facing food insecurity in northeastern Connecticut.
Due to the limited space and selection of items available at the Danielson and mobile food pantries, certain essential goods—such as baby food, pet food, cleaning supplies, fresh baked goods, dairy products, and items tailored for dietary restrictions—are often unavailable. The Price Chopper gift cards will empower recipients to purchase these critical items, bridging gaps in the pantry’s inventory and ensuring families have access to the food and supplies they need.
“We are deeply grateful for this support from Price Chopper,” said Maria Teresa Rodriguez, Supervisor-Food Pantry Programs of Access Community Action Agency. “These gift cards will help individuals facing food insecurity obtain items that meet their specific needs, offering them greater flexibility and dignity in addressing their daily challenges.”
The Golub Corporation, which operates Price Chopper and Market 32 stores, is dedicated to improving the quality of life in its communities. Through Price Chopper’s Golub Foundation, established in 1981, the organization supports non profit initiatives in health and human services, arts, culture, education, and youth activities.
