JEWETT CITY, CONNECTICUT, November 3, 2025 … Jewett City Savings Bank is proud to announce its first annual Food Drive & Family Fun Day, a community-centered event on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Bank’s Main Office, located at 111 Main Street, Jewett City.
Free and open to the public, the event will feature a live radio broadcast from BIG 100.9 with Franco and a variety of family-friendly activities, including touch-a-truck with the Jewett City Fire Department, face painting, magic performances, and arts and crafts.
Visitors are encouraged to bring a monetary or non-perishable food donation to benefit the Gemma E. Moran United Way Labor Food Bank, a nonprofit organization in New London, Connecticut. As a token of JCSB’s appreciation, the first 60 donors will receive a free hot dog. Plus, food trucks on site will donate 10% of all sales to the Food Bank.
